ippolito fleitz group

this is one of those moments where i'm sitting here and thinking to myself - "shit, i wish i designed this." i'm physically aching inside to be a part of this! i loooove the scaley textured wood wall, and how it wraps around the wall, the slab of lacquered wood counter top over the concrete, the custom rug, the way the rug looks against the floor, the huge wall-spanning bookshelf, the textured ceiling, the flowy curtains, the lighting...

i really wish i took more photos... i miss my canon ae-1 :( - but regardless, repetitive patterns and shipping containers are awesome.

stig lindberg

considered one of sweden's most important post-war designers, stig lindberg was a ceramic designer, glass designer, textile designer, industrial designer, painter, and illustrator. talk about a man of many talents. but what i happen to like a lot are his ceramic pieces. some of them feel very orla kiely.

ariadna by camper

i got a call from dolce vita yesterday saying that the most awesome shoes that i ordered were actually not available in my size, and that they wouldn't be getting more in. mega bummer. but i ran into these beauties by camper this morning and i think i might have found an alternative.

anthropologie

i freakin' love everything about this store. their retail design, homewares, jewelry, and their clothes, duh. and i definitely love ruffles and ruching more than any 22-year-old should.

u-house

there is just something about wet leaves and wood that reminds me of fall, and after seeing this montreal based home (also by a montreal designer) it's making me feel ok about the season changing. the combination of wood and dark grey walls with bright yellowish-green accents makes me happy as well.
